Background
GoDaddy.com, a renowned internet domain registrar and web hosting company, approached Dee7 Studio with the task of redesigning their landing page. This project was a significant milestone for us, marking our first collaboration with a major brand. Our objective was to create a landing page that not only aligned with GoDaddy's brand guidelines but also enhanced user engagement and conversion rates.
Challenge
The primary challenge was to revamp the existing landing page in a way that resonated with GoDaddy's diverse user base while ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. The redesign needed to be modern, visually appealing, and optimized for both desktop and mobile platforms.
Process
- Research and Moodboard: Our initial step involved comprehensive research to understand GoDaddy's brand, target audience, and industry trends. We created a moodboard to visually represent the design direction, incorporating elements that resonated with GoDaddy's brand identity.
- User Experience Design with Wireframe: Focusing on UX, we developed wireframes to lay out the structure and flow of the landing page. This phase was crucial for establishing a solid foundation for the user journey, ensuring that the layout was intuitive and user-friendly.
- User Interface Design with Prototype in Figma: With the wireframe as our guide, we transitioned to UI design. Our team used Figma to create a high-fidelity prototype of the landing page. This prototype included detailed visual elements, color schemes, and typography that aligned with GoDaddy's branding. The interactive prototype allowed us to demonstrate the look and feel of the final product effectively.
- Mobile Version Design: Recognizing the importance of mobile responsiveness, we also designed a mobile version of the landing page. This ensured a consistent and engaging user experience across all devices.
