What we collect

If you contact us

The contact form does not send anything to our servers. It opens a pre-filled email in your own mail app, and nothing is stored on this site. We receive only the email you choose to send. We use it to reply, and keep it for as long as the conversation or a resulting project needs it.

When you visit

Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. We do not use this to identify you.

Google Analytics counts visits and shows us which pages and calls to action work. What it can store depends on your choice, explained next.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, under Google Consent Mode. Nothing else on this site sets cookies for advertising or tracking, and we do not run ads.

If you accept

Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies and uses them to recognise a returning browser, so visits, sessions and journeys are measured accurately.

If you decline

Google Analytics sets no cookies and stores no identifier in your browser. We still count that the visit happened. Google Tag Manager sends a small anonymous signal with the page address, page title, referrer, approximate location, and browser and device type. It has no persistent ID, so it cannot follow you from visit to visit. We use these signals only for totals, such as how many people viewed a page.

Your choice

We store your answer in your browser (local storage, keydee7-consent) for 180 days, so we do not ask on every page. This record is needed to respect your choice and is not used for tracking. Change your mind at any time:

Legal basis

Analytics cookies rely on your consent. Anonymous visit counting without cookies, hosting and security rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving a business website, which has minimal impact on you. Replying to your email relies on taking steps at your request.

Other services this site loads

These providers receive your IP address when your browser fetches their files, because that is how the web works:

• Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site.
• Google (Tag Manager, Analytics) as described above, and Google Fonts for the Inter and Instrument Serif typefaces.
• Fontshare (Indian Type Foundry) for the Clash Display typeface.
• Sanity serves some article and project images.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. They transfer data under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Links to other websites, such as client sites in our portfolio, are governed by their own policies.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and object to or restrict how we use it. You can withdraw consent whenever you like using the cookie settings above. Email hello@dee7studio.com and we will answer within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects what we collect, we ask for your choice again.
